I must admit that it is not as easy as I thought writing my very first post in this blog. What is important? What should I say? Who knows…
I took the decision to write down something about me. My name is Patrick Lamber. I’m a computer scientist that tries to find his own way through the million possibilities that this exciting science provides. I’m somehow lost between 0 and 1 trying to find the right way. Currently, I’m working as a software developer and project manager at the Free University of Bozen – Bolzano (http://www.unibz.it). Our small team, which is a part of the software department I&CT, bases its development efforts using .NET technologies and SharePoint Server. This is a marvelous opportunity to increase my skills on those great products. In addition, I’m also teaching computer science on a local school called “Berufsschule für Handwerk und Industrie” here at Bozen – Bolzano (http://www.berufsschule.bz). Finally, I’m sometimes working as a freelancer for smaller or bigger projects based on the products SharePoint Server and Project Server.
My new year’s resolution will be to post on a weekly basis about SharePoint Server and Project Server. Naturally, depending on my future working experiences I’m probably going to change slightly my path… hmm posts… and talk about other topics. So stay tuned…
